Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!  We are so excited for Christmas!

 We decorated our apartment. Our school room has twinkle lights . . .

 We made a countdown chain . . .

 We love Christmas!

 We are so thankful to have a tree!

 And we thought it would be fun to decorate our air conditioner :)

Most of all, we are thankful for the best gift at Christmas. We know the reason for the season and enjoyed making our homemade decorations to show it!

Thinking of Christmas has gotten us to do some thinking.  We are buying some things for orphans in a village nearby.  They have so little. They need gloves and hats, toothpaste and toothbrushes and so much more.  

There are some things we don't like about being here:

1. Cars on sidewalks

2. Lots of people smoking

3. Split pants

4. Eating Asian food all the time

5. And there is no snow yet

But, there are a lot of things we do like:

1. Having warm pajamas

2. Not having to sleep in caves and hollowed out hillsides like some of the homeless people here

3. Not being orphans

4. Having our family

5. Having food to eat

6. All our books, pencils and scissors.

7. Our nice warm beds

8. Our home

9. The playground outside our apartment

10. Our schoolroom and doing crafts

We are happy for all that we have. We hope these orphans will have families soon. And we hope they can know the One we celebrate at Christmas. Will you think about these orphans with us? That they would know Him and have a family and whatever else you'd like to ask for them? Thanks!
