Art Fieldtrip!

We went to an Art Museum and then made pottery, it was so fun!  The Art Museum was really an art gallery where some painting were being sold for almost one million U.S. dollars! It was pretty cool.  Scroll down and experience the day with us :)

We took a taxi and then did some walking.

We all loved this painting of the girl.  Up close the paint strokes were so big, but from far away it looked like a photo.

Wow, a whole wall of paintings. Cool!

We stood close and stood far back. It was so cool to see big paintings and have Mom explain some art stuff to us.

This is Mom's favorite part: outside the Museum are hundreds of amazing sculptures all along the street.  They show historical events.  They are HUGE and pretty cool.

Then, Mom thought we should do some art of our own and took us across the street to make our own pottery.

A.J. made a cup.

Chloe ended up making a bowl.

Sometimes Mom had to give Chloe a little helping hand.

Savannah made a vase.

Now we wait a few days for our pottery to dry!

Now we are back, painting our pottery!

Then we wait while it drys.  We look at the goldfish . . .

And watch a cartoon . . .

And voila!  Our creations are finished!
