Taking a bus to dinner . . .

We love taking the bus in Asia!  We thought we would share our experience with you . . . .

We start by walking to the bus stop.

This is a park across the street from us. It's a beautiful day and you can see our apartment complex in the background.

This is called a Bung Bung. They are fun to ride, but today, we are taking the bus.

Now, we wait for the bus to come.

Then quick, got on the bus before it takes off!

Riding the bus is so fun!

We like to stick our heads out the window, but a lot of times the bus driver yells at us to stick our heads back in. Isn't that funny?!

Savannah LOVES to stand in the bus, especially when it's not too crowded.

After a little while, we get off at our stop.

Now, we walk to the place we will have dinner at.

We play as we walk.

And we always meet lots of friendly people.

And we usually see interesting things.

Keep on walking . . .

Hold your nose when you're in a smelly spot!

Sugar cane!

We always like to see the fruits and veggie stands.

Almost there, but Chloe has given up walking.

It's a mountain day! That's what we say when the pollution is light enough where we can see the mountains nearby. What a great walk this is turning out to be!

What does Chloe see?

One of her favorite animals, a dog! What you can't hear is Mommy saying, "Chloe, get away from that dirty dog!"

We made it! Now we head upstairs to the restaurant.

We ordered some of our favorites: on the top left is eggs and tomatoes, next to it on the right is beef with onions and green peppers.  On the bottom left are green beans and next to it is sweet and sour pork.

Mmm, tea!  Another great adventure!

It sure is fun living in East Asia. We get to see a lot of different things (and smell a lot of different things!).  We are really excited to come home this summer for a visit before we move to Africa!  We really appreciate you thinking of us as much as you do.  We can't wait to see you!
